Aging skin is caused by a complex combination of factors. As the skin ages, the collagen & elastin fibers, which give it its elasticity and tone, become fused into an inflexible mix called elastone.

The skin becomes thinner too as the subcutaneous layer of fat is reduced. With the approach of menopause, the sebaceous glands begin to shrink and produce less oil, resulting in dry skin that is prone to flaking.

If that weren’t enough, the rate of cell division and replacement falls off by 50% between the ages of 35 and 80, increasing the tendency for the old cells on the surface of the skin to cling there for a bit longer.

All this leads to sagging, wrinkling, loss of skin tone and uneven pigmentation. The degree of wrinkling depends on many factors including your genetic makeup, pollution, free-radical damage, smoking, sunburns, chronological aging, hormone depletion and immune suppression. Organic Anti Aging Skin Care Tips

• Be sure to cleanse twice daily with a Feierabend Cleanser. Follow with a Feierabend Toner.

• Use a Feierabend Serum to protect and nourish your skin.
• In addition to applying a Feierabend Moisturizer to seal in moisture, reapply it whenever your skin starts feeling dry. It is also important to be diligent about reapplying it every time you wash your hands. Don’t forget to keep a Feierabend Moisturizer in your purse, at your desk, and in every bathroom in your home.



• Once a week you should exfoliate with a Feierabend Glow, followed by applying a Feierabend Mask.
• Scale back showers or baths to at least every other day or less. In between, you can perform sponge baths on odor-causing parts of your body. Avoid soaking in the bathtub, Jacuzzi, or taking long showers. As wonderful as a leisurely bath or shower feels, too much water is bad for skin because it breaks down the skin’s protective covering (the skin’s intracellular matrix) destroying the substances that keep skin cells intact. Keep showers or baths as short as possible and do not use hot water.
• When rinsing, avoid the use of tap water on your face. The deposits are too drying on the skin. Never use hot water. Instead, rinse with tepid distilled water.
